what the heck are you coloring? But meh, it does indeed suck but you will know when your mind/body has had enough, no shame in taking a smoke break between coloring.
also, best of luck and try to keep yourself alive. I hear coffee helps.
My tablet was like $200 bucks or something. I really want to get a cintiq now. My works but I am still getting over the difference between that and hand drawn.

mike! i've tried like three times! i wouldn't say it's a happy face, it's sort of a sheepish face..like it's embarrassed and aware of being so drab compared to other avatar fish in the sea, but somewhat hopeful that you'll decide to keep it anyway. maybe because of its (hopefully) charming qaintness.
seriously, i have a birdy just waiting to take the spot..but it refuses to pass the torch.

an art trade, that sounds great!! i've never done one before.. how does this deal go down? is there a theme or a suggestion the other person would like, or do we just draw something random?? do we meet down by the docks, and slip one another our work in the safety of the dead of night? no police, no wires?
