I recommend Fablehaven by Brandon Mull. Itβs an amazing book series.)

I had a friend bit like that, she always complained how boring and stupid reading was, even though she never actually read anything.
I hate when people judge things like that without even having knowledge about the things they're judging :/

My friend would also just tell my brother and I how stupid and pointless our favorite things or hobbies were. It was annoying but besides all that she was pretty nice, although we didnβt have much in common.
(Oh, after the Fablehaven series is his newest series with those characters called Dragonwatch! Itβs really good and I enjoyed it a lot! Mistborn sounds awesome! A lot of books are like that; my brother stopped reading The Hobbit because he thought it was boring and yeah, it is a bit dragged out but I found it and Lord of the Rings very interesting nonetheless. I gotta check it too, after the Fablehaven series! c: Yeah it's sad so many books are like that, I have dropped a few ones too when I felt like I didn't get anywhere in the book. I would have probably done that with The Hobbit as well, but we had to read that in school so I didn't have any other options, and I'm really glad our teacher made us read it :') It was around the time when the second Hobbit movie was in theaters, and I've loved the book ever since! I'm planning to read The Lord of the Rings -books at some point as well!)

(Yeah, I was reading the whole Narnia series in one giant book, but I found it a bit boring so I stopped reading it and started to read Kane Cronicals, lol. My friend [the girl who was bitter towards our hobbies and stuff] was forced to read the whole Percy Jackson series for school, which is why Iβm assuming she didnβt like it. The Lord of the Rings is very interesting too! It can be, like the Hobbit, a bit boring or slow, but it still kept my interest. Ω©( α )Ω)

(I tried reading the four first Tales of Earthsea -books in one big book but I didn't succeed :') but I read Mortal Instruments 1-3 all in one book in no time, I really enjoyed those books. I need to read the remaining 3 as well. Kane Chronicles are awesome, I didn't like them as much as Percy Jackson series, but they're still really good!
Oh, then I understand why she's not really best friends with reading. It's a shame, they're such good books!Β

(Ah, haha. Big books always make me feel tiny and when theyβre boring I feel super bummed out because I was excited to read it but I just canβt force myself to read something I donβt enjoy.... ufuguhdivudid, unless itβs for school.. :βD
I hope you finish that book series then, lol. Yeah, I think Kane Chronicles isnβt as good as PJO but itβs still interesting, lol. I really enjoyed reading Magnus Chase though! Yeah, but like, she really doesnβt like reading, which is fine, but if itβs not important to her she wonβt read anything. At some point I gave her a few books that she probably would have liked (they were about mermaids) but she never read them and her siblings ripped some the pages.
Ah, I hope they keep your interest then. Once you get farther into the books itβs kind of hard to stop readings these ones... I donβt know why but I never could stop reading them, even when I was bored.)
