I may eventually, but honestly I've been so busy lately that I hadn't even really thought about it! I had the vague idea that at some point I might hold some sort of contest, but with so few members I wasn't sure if it would even get any attention at the moment >.<

hmmm you should do a raffle to promote your species y'know like 'Like this journal, make a journal/poll of this journal and then post in the comments' the raffle prize could be either a custom or ready made one n__n good thing with raffles is that it has an end date so you wont have to rush

yes of course you could!

I think you should make a separate group for the species

upload everything there

then change the group rules so people can submit their characters art and stuff

I'll think about it! I did kinda want a main group to act sorta as info storage for the numerous species I may create, but maybe I should create a separate one too? Idk. If I make more species I don't want to end up running like 20 groups, haha. (Though I definitely need help controlling the settings on any groups I run, because I cannot figure that stuff out?? For whatever reason I was having a real issue finding the setting that would allow others to submit to the gallery)

Well with the species ive got a MYO of i think will do really well and deserves its own group

I wish that i could make such a species to be proud of but I am not very creative

And I'm sure you could! Honestly, I feel like making a species is less about "I want it to look like x animal, or have x traits" and more about experimenting with fun body shapes until you get somewhere you like, and then expanding from there! One of the artists I follow on tumblr actually just posted a really great bit about that.
