Well not much to say here. If you're reading this there's a %80 chance you're here because of one of my anti feminist/sjw comments. I only log on to this account in order to argue with people. And whew boy I do get so many butthurts.--
You may think I'm not supporting gender equality/LGBT or anti racism. In which I do. As a female I do believe men and women should have equal rights. And I do know that women in most countries are not seen as equal to men. However the reason why I don't support a movement that supposedly works for gender equality is because when a bunch of white,middle/upper class or able bodied Americans whine about being oppressed on sites like tumblr it doesn't help anyone and it just makes them a big laughing stock. As someone who has lived in a muslim society and not in a first world country I have seen sexism and homophobia. And I know for sure sexism isn't men complimenting you or men spreading their legs on metros. Sexism is much more worse than that. And it doesn't exist in first world countries.

Oh and yes I'm a muslim. No I don't cover myself up, I'm not brown or black and I wouldn't marry a man that's 90 years older than me and has 200 wives.

I don't really hate all Americans. I just hate the ones who are stupid. It's not actually their fault that they turned out so stupid if you think about it. unfortunately, not even first world countries are the ideal/perfect society.
yes it's true that they are very lucky to be able to vote, pursue a career and become financially independent. yes it's true that there are women in other parts of the world who face genital mutilation, acid attacks, rapes, honour killings, child marriage- the list goes on.

our pathetic little issues in the first world countries are next to nothing when compared to the issues faced by millions of other women worldwide.

men spreading their legs is merely display of a discourteous slob and men complimenting women isn't necessarily trying to undermine her. nowadays people are so evil, spiteful and mean, a true-hearted compliment in general, whether about appearance or not, is like a ray of sun on a stormy day..
Catcalling, on the other hand, is a problem and it is counted as sexual harassment because it is unwanted attention. while some might laugh and like some attention, i think that most women still feel uncomfortable at being whistled at like a dog or being bombarded with sexual comments.
So is it good to negate one's issues because it isn't as serious as someone else's? for example, say you broke your foot, it hurts like hell and you've got soccer training tomorrow. boohoo. guess what, kids in Africa are starving to death so you're irrelevant.

because in the end, women in first world countries are DEFINITELY very lucky to have what they have today. they must be grateful they are not suffering like many women are currently in parts of the world.
but even so, women in first world nations still face workplace discrimination, gender wage gaps, are shamed for rape and criticized for abortions or delaying pregnancy in favour of work, sexually harassed on the streets and the nights, still held responsible for their own rapes and murders, for what they wore and how they might've tempted someone.
because women today are still not feeling safe in the streets because not all men, but enough men believe in the idea drummed into them by society, that they are entitled to sex and women, and that a girl is a notch in the belt.
obviously these type of issues are also faced by men. domestic violence, rape, murder- but let's face it, more victims tend to be women. by no means am i condemning all men for being rapists, because it's impossible to generalise on such a large scale and be accurate.
it's a sad fact, and while you are right in suggesting that first world country women's issues certainly aren't as horrible as those in other countries, first world women's issues still exist. why? due to sexism. therefore, you cannot say so easily that sexism does not exist in first world nations.

Sexism does exist in first world countries of course. I didn't necessarily mean there's zero sexism on first world countries. The people I'm reffering to by that statement is the people live in first world countries, are rich enough to afford a computer and have nothing wrong about their health or anything. And I'm pretty sure they have experienced like %1 of the problems you adressed since Theres little amount of feminists who adress these issues logically. The people I deal with and the people who I said sexism doesn't exist in first world countries are the people who scream "sexism!1!1!1 patriarchy!1!1!1 misogyny!1!1!" At even the smallest little things. For example people who get offended by the word "woman" having the word "man" in it. Or the people who say that all men should die for existing. I know of course no society is perfect. Actually nothing in the world is perfect. and trust me I wouldnt even say that if I saw feminists on tumblr actually addressed real sexism like not getting the same amount of money as men and being sexually harassed.

The way you put your statement forward, I just automatically assumed that you were suggesting that there was no such thing. You might want to clarify that.
Whether someone addresses an issue logically or not, sexism exists. I don't really understand your argument that people who scream sexist don't have sexism exist. If one world leader addresses war illogically, it doesn't cancel out and render war non-existent.
You suggest that feminists have probably experienced only 1% of the problems, then I would have to disagree again. Yes, first world country women are privileged to have a computer, but they also lead lives outside of the internet. Go online, search about. News headlines often have the murder, kidnapping, rape, assault, abuse of young women. It isn't as uncommon as you might think.
Don't even go online. Ask people, talk to people about experiences, see the stories of people in rape survivor groups or similar groups. There are hostels for young women who are faced by domestic violence. Stories that don't make the news headlines are often stories of girls having drinks spiked, being catcalled or being harassed in the workplace.
Obviously there are those who are extremists or younger girls who think they're doing a favour by attacking men, and unfortunately they give the movement a bad name.
But at the same time, like I said, you can't generalise either. Statistics may show 1 in 2 men have raped someone before, but that doesn't mean you must generalise every man to be a rapist. That's pretty much same as suggesting all Muslims are terrorists because of these ISIS extremists committing such horrible crimes.
Regardless of how many extremists you see online, trolling men, screaming sexism- you still must understand that the feminist movement is still supported by people who are genuinely trying to improve society, and that they have been, unfortunately, tarred by the same brush as extremists and immature people.
People may go instead for egalitarianism or all human rights, because to them, feminism seems to only be a movement for women. It's unfair to say this, because what they are doing is, technically, negating women's movement. It's like #AllLivesMatter trying to negate the #BlackLivesMatter hashtag, because essentially what is being said is 'I don't care about your issues, because I've got issues too'.
Full equality is unachievable too, and shouldn't be achieved either. Such a state would be literally Communism, and such a state is certainly dysfunctional, as proven in history. Which is why a perfect society does not and can not possibly be achieved. However, we can strive to improve it to be near perfect for all people. Why say the world is a shit place and not try to improve it?
The feminist movement was created in the 1800s by the French philosopher Charles Fourier, and he named it feminism, because not only are women affected by a patriarchal society, men are too. Weak and gay men are labelled as feminine. Men raped or faced with domestic violence by women are ridiculed. What a patriarchal society is doing is waging war against the notions of being feminine, which is why Fourier named it such. This is why I stick to feminism and will not call myself anything else but a feminist.
Believe me, I try to remain calm, but when there are comments that continue to be so offensive and ignorant, then I can get angry too. So I must thank you for not blowing up like many other people have.
