Heh, not at all. The real meat of it hasn't got to do with advertising (which, for the record I actually said I am in support of when used in the right manner), rather, other relative situations.
Thanks for the comment though, it's good to see people reading enough to have it seem that way.

Hey jerk off, thanks for the comment... did you bother to look at some of my other pictures? that was a mistaken shot that I thought looked cool so but thanks for playing. Yes, I have a shitty camera, so what? You're just one of those rich boys that has a nice camera so everything you shoot looks nice, I have to work for good pictures.

In case you didn't notice, I took YOUR words and spit them right back at you. You were bitching at me for having a shitty camera; at that time I didn't have a job and your camera would have looked like God to me. My camera did a shit job of doing anything and, like you said, I had to fuck with it to get anything to look good.
The camera doesn't make the photographer; having a nice camera doesn't mean my shots are necessarily any better than yours. YOu have a lot of good photos in your gallery.
You took an off shot that turned out to be meaningless tripe and I threw your words at it. You looked at the picture of my cat that wasn't entirely serious and told me to stop wasting space at deviantART for it. You took a picture of a bunch of lights in long exposure ... If I had posted that, I'm sure you would have said the same thing.
Triple burned?

So do you go to Avon High?

Yeah, I went to Avon High. Graduated in 2002. What a friggin' hellhole, let me tell you. (Sorry; Avon's never exactly been my cup o' tea.) Cruisin' around the Commons and pretending we were ghetto -- now, that was always fun.
Yeah, I'm moving, but I'll be back in a year. The boyfriend's a teacher in West Hartford, and he can't teach in any other state until he's taught here for at least (I think it's) five years(?). So, I gotta come back. Anyway, what year are you? Who are your teachers right now?
π: 0 β©: 1
LonerWoof In reply to Talashira [2004-10-04 07:17:47 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, what can I say. ...Wait, you graduated two years ago? I probably saw you at some point. I'm in the class of 2006, a junior. Hellhole it is. They don't have any of the classes I want to take. The budget's gotten even worse since you graduated, and it isn't looking up anytime soon. They also took away almost all of the senior priviledges, and put underclassmen on leashes to make it look like they still had something to look forward to. And still too many rich snobby arrogant awful people. I'm tired of how they all treat me.
Teachers... teachers... Well, I have Ms. Smith for Junior English, she's new but she's really cool. The infamous Mr. Infantino for U.S. History, of course he's awesome. Mr. Winer for Music Theory, he's awesome but the classmates blow. Mr. DeLivron for my one-semester retake of Bio, he's a laid-back guy and I can appreciate that. He also taught many of our grandparents Ms. Pruett for Chamber Choir, who continues to pick the cheesiest music she can find. Cafe resource sixth period... not that it means shit any more, you just sit in the cage (left the ironic misspelling) all period. SParky's on a rampage lately. Mr. Salerni for Intro to Physics, he's a good guy. Mr. Riccio, the funny rich Italian dude with the 'Vette for Trig.
My teachers rock, I hate the kids. Most of them, at least.
We almost moved to northern New Jersey this summer, but it didn't work out Wayne Valley High was going to be a lot of fun. They had all the classes I could have wanted. Oh well.
Avon is OK as a town, though. Pretty self-sufficient, and I like that. Still would have preferred Wayne, New Jersey.

Yeah, no, I was out before you came in....
Let's see... Mr. Infantino was one of my fave teachers of all time. I had him two years in a row, for both my sophomore and junior years. He rocks (of course, you have to be a democrat to agree with that, heh heh -- very politically opinionated, he is). And, um... oh, yeah, I was in Chamber Choir, too; good thing Ms. Pruett's still there, or the choirs would be going to total crap. She's been getting frustrated in the last few years. She complained to me that all the really good singers graduated and left my year. I guess the classes of 2003 and 2004 weren't anything to "sing" about, heh heh. Hope you're having fun with her, even though the music sucks. The only music teacher I ever had who chose awesome music was Mr. Carlson, but that was middle school, and he died before you got to AMS, I think.
Bah. Yeah, the kids suck. Driving around their BMWs and Mercedes and brand-new Jeeps and such. Made me and my friends sick. See, we were in the "accepted by every group" crowd. We weren't the popular kids, but we weren't the losers. We kinda hung out with everybody. We were odd. And we spent most of our free time in Mr. Winer's lesson room -- he gave us special permission to eat lunch there and everything; he was cool about it.
I've always hated the people here in Connecticut, so you're not alone in disliking the kids you go to school with. Things get better once you go to college, because everyone loses their sophomoric attitudes, and they begin to realize that they're "all grown up" and start acting like normal human beings (well, most of them, anyway).

Yeah, Mr. Infantino is awesome I had Goldberg last year and the year before, though... He was unforgettable. Last year was his last at AHS, he got a job teaching somewhere else because the district never liked him.
Oh man. If she was complaining before ...You should see the chamber choir now. It's almost ALL freshmen, a lot of sophmores, and a handful of juniors. I think there are maybe 3 seniors in the room. The quality is nowhere near what it used to be, I'm so disappointed! When I first came here, there were some real characters in the chamber choir but they all came together exceptionally well. The chamber choir feels wrong now, I regret so much not joining last year. Heh, I bet they were good for your class. I hear about them once in awhile. But yeah, the choirs fucking suck now. Mr. Carlson... I'm sorry, but I heard that the previous AMS music teacher killed himself or something, is that him? Mr. Kawiecki replaced whoever it was, and he's rather ...eccentric.
I'm in the accepted-by-no-group group Unless you count the kinda stupid and annoying loser kids that are infuriating to be around. I'm accepted individually by some people, though. I'm very tired of how a lot of people treat me however. Yes, rich rich rich. I'm not rich but I'm definitely not poor, my family is well off. However I don't let that make me arrogant like the others.
College... Man. I'm looking forward to spending some time at Berklee! I bet I'll meet friends I will have for life there.

I think Mr. Goldberg was student teaching when I was there. He was definitely pretty cool, but yeah, he and the district heads never quite got along.
I feel bad for Ms. Pruett. She acts as though her career is going downhill as it ends, when it's supposed to go sky-rocketing for the last golden years. I know that last year saw people like Alan and Zach, but she just needs to work with what she's got, instead of whining about it. She chose to teach at a public high school... so deal, I say.
Yeah, Mr. Carlson was Mr. Kawiecki's predecessor. He was my favorite teacher of all time -- my favorite person, as a matter of fact. We were really close. And yeah, he was the one who killed himself. Hard times, those; I'll never forget the pain from those months. I actually just went to pay my respects at his grave, so all the good and bad memories have been opened up, and old wounds are bleeding again.... Bah. But you don't want to hear that, heh heh.
So, you're going to Berklee? Do you mean Berklee School of Music, up in Boston? I have a friend who's attending right now; he graduated in 2001. Name's Neill Wilson -- Ms. Pruett would remember him; he was in Chamber Choir, too. He was fairly disappointed when he got there because the teaching tends to focus on the instrumental aspect of music as apposed to the vocal, and he wanted to do the singing bit... but he's dealing, heh. He's a great guitar player -- he tried to teach me, as a matter of fact, but piano's always gonna be my thing. I was actually the pianist for a lot of the pieces for the choirs in middle and high school. That was fun. So I sang some, and accompanied some. Whoo. What do you play?

LonerWoof In reply to Talashira [2004-10-04 23:45:59 +0000 UTC]
Heheh... Yeah, I had no idea she's been teaching as long as she has. I had no idea she was old enough to be teaching that long! She really is young for her age. Heheh, yeah, public schools are hit-or-miss when it comes to music programs. I'm sure it's exhilirating to her when she finds someone that really has the talent, and she brings it out in them. One of the reasons we didn't move was also for her and my amazing guitar teacher... She likes me a lot >_>
I'm very sorry to hear that I can barely imagine it all, that's so strange. It's the sort of thing you don't think about when you think of teachers. They're the people you look up to, look to for guidance, and look to for an example. It's hard to fathom one of my favorite teachers going and killing him/herself.
In all honesty, I hate singing My dream is to play guitar. I want to major in Rock Guitar when I go there, and yes it's Berklee College of Music in Boston. Neil Wilson, I'm definitely going to have to ask her about him Piano is a wonderful instrument that will do anything and go anywhere, especially now that synthesizers are so easy to use. I've recently become interested in working with Propellerhead Reason, and knowledge of the piano is very helpful

Yeah, the piano rocks. I've been playing since I was three. Plus, I was born with what my friends like to call the Perfect Pitch Talent Mix, where I've got perfect pitch and the ability to pick up any instrument and learn to play it within the hour, sins instruction booklets. (shrugs) It's pretty cool. Plus, I'm dying for a synthesizer, because when I move back here next year to be with my boyfriend, I'm going to be in an apartment, and obviously can't have a piano.
Rock guitar, huh? Sounds cool. What, specifically, do you plan to do with that?
