Welcome to my DA website. My name is Mirna and my favorite material to use for my artwork is either charcoal or graphite but I'm currently working with Oil paint, I also bake little goodies. I've been drawing since I was 6. I have always been pretty good at it. In high school I took some art classes and even in college I'm currently taking a painting class..

But really, how? I've been trying to get to drawing skills like yours but I seem to only have this art style. Do you have a drawing tutorial or perhaps know of a technique that I'm just not using?

I got better by drawing the basics. Starting with simple shapes like circles, triangles, cylinders, cubes, and so on. Set up still-life's varying in difficulty to practice your hand/eye coordination.
Youtube is a pretty good reference to learning new techniques. Plus they explain visually cuz reading and books can explain a lot but doesnt show how.

I haven't had much practice with my hand/eye coordination and still-life, I'll definitely start practicing those.
