I don't even remember what I said about Major Character Death, but I'll try not to mention that then.

you just kinda mentioned it was there, and I denied that it would happen to an ACTUAL major character. everything just seemed to no-depressing at the time :/
even when I was aware that one half of the OTP was gonna die, it still came like a slap in the face.
why would you write 25 chapters of sippering drama filled with witty and beautiful humour and with the couple getting together in the end and then write 2 chapters of DEATH, DESPAIR AND MOURN and then one last chapter of acceptance and on-moving that always feel somewhat unsatisfying??
It's like watching a Doctor Who episode written by that one writer that is not Steven Moffat or the Russel guy I forgot his name but he does pretty much the same thing
it's like you sit and have a picnic with all your friends and family, reminiscing about the good and the bad, being all emotional and happy and then suddenly all your friends and family gets sniped by the FBI or something, they walk up to you, pat you on the shoulder and tell you that it was for the good of mankind and you are just sitting there like

I read a manga that was kinda like that. Since then I never read anything from that author again. First they're through alot of heavy shit, and then as they are at the peak of their relationship, the author kills on half. Then the other half is left alone only to find out that the dead half had even more things planned that now never will happen. Worst part of that whole manga was that it was a traffic accident(So you didn't even know it was coming)... I don't know if that's what started the joke or if it was coincidence. All I can say is that, when referring to that manga, this traffic accident was not funny.Β
Do you still recommend it to me or...? Even if you still do, I feel a bit afraid of reading death.

yeah, I still recommend it because it's so incredibly well written otherwise, but stop reading after chapter 25 if you don't want to get your heart broken.

Automail is what the mechanical arms/legs in the Fullmetal Alchemist universe are called, a crowbar are used as a weapon in Half Life.
