Hey, sorry to burst your bubble, but what you're doing is a bit rude. You constantly beg someone who has worked hard for years for help and advice on brushes, and then practically directly copy their work? To me, it's disrespectful. Artists already have a hard enough time making it in life, especially as adults, without people begging for their creative enterprise for free. But then you want to all-but force them into helping you, and then steal their ideas when they do? and THEN try to make it sound like the characters are more original than not? I mean, I'm someone who believes we all take a little inspiration from everything we see, but what you're doing is beyond subtle. It's obvious you're not putting very much effort at all into your "original" designs compared to what's required from the rest of us.
It would be fine if you just drew these kinds of things for yourself for practice and understanding art better, but it seems to me like this is more of a gambit for "le fame" than it is trying to express yourself, which is something a very good friend of mine is doing their best at right now, and something which you are not trying very hard to do.
I can't 100% fault you because, frankly, I get the impression you're young. Too young to be on this site. It takes years and years of drawing and practicing and refining your interests, so until that time comes I think you ought to be respectful and either take better care in refining the characters you draw that are similar to others, or draw the ones you don't want to refine privately. Please understand and please be respectful of my friends. I do not want to hurt any feelings, I'm just trying to help them because... well, I care about them. What you're doing has inconvenienced them. I understand you may not see it and you may not want to see it, but ultimately it's reality.

I understand why you may think I am being disrespectful to your friend, but I think that art is all about inspiration. It isn't all the same style, for example:
I LOVE these lines, and try to simulate their smoothness whenever i do lines for my drawings.
I also try to retouch my lines kinda like this, but tbh I'm not really that good at it. Instead I usually just color the lines to compliment the colour that is filling in the lines.
Again, here with the lines and the overall roundness of the art. I also try to get the 'bright' emotion in most of my art, although no-one can be as good as Kawiku when it comes to retouching. I try to take a little bit of the lighting/shading from here, although not as many light sources.
What I mostly use from your friends artwork is how I do some of my colouring, as i feel that that is the thing i am least good at. There are many different styles out there, and everyone is subconsciously inspired by each other to a certain degree. Also, I think that the part where you said I am too young to be on this site isn't quite fair, because you have to start somewhere, in doing anything, and I think it can be the artists choice to start whenever they wish. There are many other young artists on this site, all improving, and just because the adults/older people on this sight are AMAZING (which they are) at art, it doesn't mean that the people who are not so good (like myself) cannot post on here as well.
I hope that you and your friend are not alarmed or unhappy with my response/art. I am a young teenage boy who is trying to improve on a site that I feel is a great art community. Even so, I am trying to develop my own style, which like you said, takes a very long time.

Thank you for your perspective on my art, but I feel that next time, if your friend (and my idol) is unhappy with my art, they can say it themselves. It would also be great if your friend could explain to me why they blocked me, as this really hurts my feelings, knowing that the person I admire does not want me to see their art/communicate them. I do not want to come off as rude or impolite, and I do not mean to hurt any feelings, but I really want you and your friend to know my side of how this is going. Also, I hope your friend likes the gift art ^-^.
