Don't worry, I'm sure NaNo is pretty all consuming and I've been working on other projects in the meantime Whenever you can is good.

And just so you know, I posted up a new one-shot recently that I'd love for you to check out as well. You know, as soon as you get the time . It's called 'Pieces' [link] and it's essentially a character study of all the members of Team Amazon, with special emphasis on Courtney and Cody, and their reactions to the events of 'Greece's Pieces' and the DxCxG triangle.

I wrote it for all the DxC fans who might still be having trouble getting over said triangle and since I know I can count you as one, I'd love for you to check it out and to get your opinion on it. Again, I'm not holding my breath or anything so it's at your leisure

Wow...I feel so honored right now. Thank you very much for the kind words, it was a lot of fun writing the first chapter. Hopefully IRONICA will turn out much better than Skeletons.

And you're the writer she's been telling me about XD I read the song and I was VERY impressed with how you had it all planned out. I used to be really into songwriting myself so you did good.

I have not yet had the time for your short story, though I read a few lines and from what I read I really liked it. Once I get that done I'll tell you what I think

No worries I really like your writing style, at least what I've seen of it in Skeletons and Tonight We Dance. Very fluid but pretty heavy at the same time. (If that makes any sense to you xP) I tried to hitch a ride on that vibe for my story to keep with the same feel of IRONICA.

I'm glad to hear you liked the song, since I didn't ever INTEND to actually write one lol. I was trying to start work on my short story but all that kept popping into my head were song lyrics. Instead of fighting it like I usually do, I decided to humor my creativity bone so that's how that happened I don't know what keytaro wants to do with it. I've been trying to round up my old band to see if they'd be up for recording it just for fun but everyone's busy. I'd love if maybe you could incorporate it into the main story or something

I read it Thursday during my Creative Writing class! I really really liked it. I love the style in which you write and the flow of your words, it was very smooth and very in character.

Course I'll add in the song and full credit I've been worried about the whole song thing to be honest, I don't want to use other band's work and my songwriting skills are rusty. Having yours in there will ease the load.

And thank you for being so considerate I don't mind you writing...erm...fanfiction for our fanfiction? XD is probably the coolest thing ever.

Well, how do you create angst without it being overly dramatic or unrealistic?

What are your tips on writing angst?

I am very new to writing in this style, as you can tell from all my other basically "happy" family dramas.

Hmm...well mainly I delved into my own feelings and experiences and put them into words. If I was feeling it then it had to be real enough. And when I also am the type of person people share all their feelings with, so I know a lot of how many of my friends feel.

So yes, try from your own experiences and own emotions. When you're depressed how do you feel?

Ask people you know, go onto forums, just listen and read. Keep working at it and send it to me if i have time I'll give an opinion.

I thought I would be able to finish all three by the fifteenth but i'm far too busy for that with other things. I don't know when Skeletons will finish. Probably november. I'm working on other projects with Keytaro atm and posting on another ff.net to practice different techniques.

Ethical Whore is my penname. If you wanna check it out go for it, but don't tell anyone.

I'll also be posting something on wednesday (on calamity) maybe for wear purple day. Oh yes, wear purple on Wednesday in support of LGBTQ kids and such if you can.

Really? Honestly I always thought your writing was unique and amazing compared to most of the little kids who write fairy tale stories on FF. The writing is coming along decently. Recently I applied to write a short story for an 8059 anthology, so I'm working on that on the sidelines. Skeletons is still pretty hard for me though, I can't think of a suitable ending other than the one that had been planned.

May I suggest an ending to your story?

Have you ever seen the movie "Shutter Island"? Do you know who that ends? Most said it was kind of a back-flip or a "slap in the face" to the readers. Well, I found it mind-opening (if that's the correct term). I think you should have an ending like that one.

But, the ending you shared with me was satisfying. I also think that most of the readers would find it satisfying also. But, if you are writing for yourself (which is the best in my opinion), and if you are not happy with the ending you had planned; write a new one.

You can always probe me for an idea or two.

I liked the ending I planned for it -- but honestly, I can't bring myself to write it. It's too much work and the more time passes, the more I hate Skeletons.

In a class this man Sutherland was discussing open endings today, which definately made me think. You probably haven't read it, but back when I was in middle school I read That Was Then This Is Now. SE Hinton said that she wanted the book to piss you off. That's the kind of ending I'm going for > lol
