If it's for something political-ish...like if Renee knows there's something going on in Quebec and Marie needs this marriage for whatever reason, Renee would definitly be cocky about it "Little Miss Anti-Anglo needs my help? Oh-hohohoho~ Of course, I knew you'd come back to me some day".. something like that. But! If the proposal is just sprung on her out of the blue (and for reasons she's not aware of) she would definitly start by blushing up a storm, but then she'd get defensive "why would you think I'd want to marry you? I don't need you. I know we were together before, but it didn't mean anything like that. It's not like that. That was so long ago, it means nothing now... ppphatnaaana" and she'd probably eventually ramble herself into making random noises with nervous laughter, and then start getting blushy again because she knows that's all lies.
And in the end, she'd accept it in both senerios, in a "Okay, very well, I'll help you just this once" for the first or the "Fine... I guess we were married before... it wasn't that bad I can do it again =3= " for the second, but inside she'd be sincerly happy in both cases.
