Well, Ian...I'm a child of the 1960's. Long before the advent of the personal computer and the digital programs that seem to dominate the art styles these days. Simply put...I'm a dinosaur! *smile* And my style shows it. Very pleased that you enjoyed my Gallery!

Haha very awesome! Would you say star wars had influence on your work? What other things throughout the years have inspired you? You have a very cool style keep up the good work!

Well, Ian...yeah...I'd say Star Wars had a big influence on my work. I did a ton of illustrations for the West End line of Star Wars gamebooks, and anything in those drawings that didn't "look" Star Wars would cause that illustration to be rejected by Lucas Films. I never had a rejection...so I guess my style looked sufficiently "Star Wars". I have found many sources of inspiration over the years, Ian...but my biggest source would be sci-fi/fantasy media and my love of ancient history. Such a blend has given my work a decidedly "retro" look. Which...I'm happy with!
