I like have a question... how do you color pictures with GIMP? I can't figure it out. XD

To color images in I made a new layer for the colors, colored over it (even the lineart, but trying to stay more or less in the lines) then tuned down the opacity.

I stopped using it a while ago, it was so frustrating >< Instead, I recommend OpenCanvas. If you're willing to pay up about 50$ you can get the latest version which works really well (4.5, maybe?).
Or if that's not in your budget you can download OpenCanvas 1, which is free, kind of wonky, though. It's what I'm currently using.

If you want to help out, the best thing to do is give them some feedback, something to read during those long, long days on lockdown. Just read through the poems and leave some comments--I always send comments to the authors. If you feel a little more energized, note me for the address of a poet you particularly like, and write him/her a letter... nothing brightens their day like words from someone on the outside.
