However, that sucks you don't have wifi. Do you not know anyone with wireless internet? If you go to a starbucks cafe sometime, I'm pretty sure they have free (or with the purchase of a coffee) wifi.

Sounds like a plan.
MSN and skype are messengers. It's like going to a chatroom on here, but you can log into it and just talk to friends without having to open up the internet. I could give you a download link to either if you're interested. I'm on MSN more often than skype (I usually just forget to log in). But skype allows free phone calls and video chats.
