That's what is expected from you.
Off to an excellent start.
Anything (lead, hints, pointers...) just a note away.

I've only just started utilising a film camera (Nikon F55) any advise when shooting with it? I've only ever used digital (DSLR) so I have no idea what my negatives are going to come out like!

Hy Jack,
It is quite difficult to say what you are going to get after processing. A lot of depends on the film you use because various films can give different sharpness and contrast. What kind of film do you use? Personally me, two years i have been using Ilford production. Ilford HP5, Ilford Delta and Ilford FP4 films. All of them are great.

Another tip could be that try to avoid harsh sun light, because then pictures tend to be very shit how I say A little bit cloudy day is perfect for me

If you need some help, just ask

Ah okay, well I use the HP5 currently, but it's the first actual time of using an SLR; I guestimate the settings (speed, F stop etc) as I haven't really any experience with it at the most. I've been shooting mainly portraiture with a little bit of back-alley cityscape. My project at the moment is based on empowerment and 'homelessness' - so using a low-fstop like f4.5 and then a slowish speed, 1/50 and lower - although i've varied the speed quite a lot!

Thanks for the advise
