that's what I tried telling you, from my 5 years on DA I've learned to never add in your username: Oc's names, animals, fandoms, bands and tastes, I know people who have like "pony" in their usernames and don't draw ponies for years. The kind of music I listen today isn't compared to what I listened 3 years ago, and so on.

I don't really like that advice, to be honest. I know that tastes change, but a username is something really personal. If you want your username to change with your tastes, like I do, then I say go ahead. Maki is still my fursona, I still love swimming, but I wanted something that's more like me right now.

I deactivated the last one because I made my new one. I'm actually considering bringing her back as a secondary/tertiary. Besides, I don't even have Maki as in my name now. It's not a huge burden for me to change my name. I'm sorry if you don't like it, but it *is* my name. I don't like having my real name in any form out, so having my name be something related to it is not an option for me. So, I have to go with something else that represents me. That's usually about my interests or my tastes.
