I apologise if I'm being captain obvious here, but you ma'am really excel at creepy and unnerving. Not really my taste, but I'm really at awe with your skill.
Also, are you an actual Satanist or is that "Ave Satanas" up there just for shock value?

Kudos for multitasking, I personally don't reply right away, usually because I see your replies very late in the evening/night and I prefer to wait for a time when I'm not under any sorta pressure while writing. It's nice to talk with someone who's not only on the level, but also possessing enough patience to read and respond.
You're right, those are the old rules, in fact that's also yet another common misconception. See, while we acknowledge the Old Testament, we're not in any way bound by most of the laws featured in there. The simplest and most commonly known example of this is the fact that Christians do not commit circumcision. Even the 10 commandments used in Christian preachings (at least in my country) are slightly different from their version featured in the Old Testament. There's a couple of reasons for it. The most notable being cultural, see the Old Testament wasn't just a religious passage, it also contained Hebrew history, laws and myths. Their culture didn't distinguish between man-made laws and divine laws, for them all law and rulership was divine in a sense that their leaders and law makers supposedly worked under Gods command. Bear in mind that the Hebrew nation started out as a big tribe, in that context a lot of their laws and beliefs make sense. Also (the following is just an explanation I once read somewhere, I'll need to study the scripture more closely to either confirm or deny it, but it makes sense given what I know) the Jewish belief is that salvation is a result of a deal struck between their ancient leader Abraham and God, that deal pertained only to his tribe. The Christian belief is that salvation comes from the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and it pertains to all of humanity. That sacrifice struck a new deal in a sense, so the old laws don't necessarily apply any more unless Jesus Himself said so. Likewise, I don't hold most anything in the New Testament as absolute unless it's a direct quote from Christ himself, as there's a lot of things in there that are independent teachings/commentary of his students and some of it's pretty iffy. Also, the thing about the New Testament is that there were a lot of historic scriptures from the 1st century about Christ that didn't make it into the Bible. There was this conference of the Church officials in the early middle ages (I forgot which year or century exactly, dates were never my strong point) to determine which ones were supposed to be cannon and which weren't, and we all know how the "enlightened" middle ages treated anything they didn't like - "Heresy! BURN IT!". There's no telling how many priceless historical documents were lost to that period and I'm not just talking about Christian religious scripture. In any case, you can bet your ass if there was anything in the Jesus's teachings particularly and obviously ahead of that period, like say tolerance for alternate sexualities, the record of it most likely didn't survive. Likewise, the record of any female followers is kept to bare minimum, even though there are mentions of Him having a lot of followers from both genders and from many diverse professions, many of which were looked down upon as impure in His time.
Phew, sorry, I could go on and on. Heh, all that text and it basically comes down to "Yep, those are sure outdated". xD Truth is, I need to read those books myself back to back to have a more solid ground. As is my knowledge here is mostly second hand: from what I've heard in Church and in school, from what I've seen in documentaries and from interpretations (both private and scientific/historical) I've either heard or read over the years. And of course, from what I've read in the New Testament, as of now I don't even own a copy of the old one, unless you count "The Children's Bible", which is a hilarious concept considering how do you even make THAT THING kid friendly.
That's what you believed? Does that mean you don't any more? From what I've heard practising magic often attracts unwanted attention, then again if you say you suspect it's been resident there before you, I guess that wouldn't matter. I'm saying it cause I don't know of it's gender, does gender even pertains to the spirits? Obviously not in a biological sense, but I guess gender identity could still apply if they retain some of their identity from their mortal life. I'm also assuming one would need some sorta special training and/or gift to see the spirits the way you do.
That must've been some intense experience for her.
Phew that was a doozy to write, while the supernatural is a subject I can do little more than ask questions about (well, I guess curiosity comes with ignorance), the social/cultural/political/philosophical aspects of religion is something I always have more to say about than what I can make coherent. Of course a lot of it is my own speculation/opinion.

Thank you very very much dear!! :3
Hmm, I don't formally call myself a Satanist (mainly because of the quickness to judge rather than the openness to understand) but I do agree with a lot of LaVey Satanic principles. I don't believe in Satan or God though, but I do indulge on the notion of there being alpha spirits e.g. a spirit that rules a forest and smaller spirits through out them. I used to be a white witch when I was younger but drifted away from it as it was getting in the way of my relationship with my mum. She didn't really have the patience to try and understand what I was doing. I harmed no one and cursed no one. My focus was on listening to the forest spirits and healing them and not much else. She became paranoid I was letting evil spirits into the house after some sightings in the house, though that was not my doing as I never opened any doors and don't ever plan on doing so. Hng, sorry I kinda went off the track there.. o wo;;

No need to apologise, that was actually very interesting. I don't actually think you strayed off topic, which is more than I can say for myself when I start to "speak". Now excuse my own rambling, please. :3
Aside from the fact that the term "Satanist" might sound intimidating to some people (myself included ), there is a lot of prejudice surrounding most any religion, hence why I always dread bringing it up in a conversation. People's first instinct is to prejudge and be either aggressive or evasive, instead of, like you said, try to understand and get along.
I myself am a Christian, I believe in God as a universal idea of love. I also harbour the belief that in the end it doesn't really matter what you believe in as long as you are generally a nice person. I would say I'm stunned at how many Christians seem to completely ignore Jesus's preaching of love and tolerance, but then again I know there are all sorts of people in most any big enough group - it's statistics. Same with bronies really, I'd say I was disappointed with the fandom, but I actually came to expect that from any large community. TBH I do not deny existence of spirits, but I'm more into science than spirituality when it comes to my world view, I guess I'm just a product of my time in that regard.
The way you phrased it - "healing them" - I'm not sure I'm interpreting this correctly, cause it sounds like you said you were healing the spirits. If so, how does that work?
How do you think those spirits got into your house then?
BTW, just to be perfectly clear, I know the rep of my religion, but I'm not here to judge, preach or convert anyone, it would be counter productive as it would just make me look bad. I'm here cause I "smell" an opportunity for an interesting convo, from which I may learn a thing or two which is a nice bonus. I'm actually very curious about other world views. I tried to keep myself brief, I failed to keep myself brief, hopefully you're not one of those people who'd deem this too long/boring to read.
