Deviant is no longer letting any sexual art or literature on here. I beleive as long as it is not full out porn and is tastefully drawn it is art. Since it takes the maker time and reserves to create. maybe instead of being lazy ^%&^$ they should make a proper rating system if there so worried about lil kids. this subject would not bother me as much if they themselves did not have
god %&$% pinnup goth chicks wich is only porn and adds trying to sell penis pills WHAT THE MIDGETS DOES THAT HAVE 2 DO WITH ART!? I myself dont have any hard core material on here only because i was waiting to get to be a better drawer. But I know many good artists that I will no longer be able to veiw there style of art because of deviant's waiste of time rules, here's an idea how about making ur seaches work and pics easier ascesable and organize!

Since you asked, I hope I can answer some of your confusion. Most of what you are seeing has to do with people like myself, that have been on DevArt since 2000, 2001 or so. At the time we joined, the site was a small child, and at that time Jark and Matteo were the creators. They helped to drive the site as a community, and as far as I can remember, they showed us pictures of the servers and work they were putting into the site, even if it was small back then.
Through time the community experienced the loss of lives of some important members, and as a community Jark was there to help us rally for a rememberance, or grant support for a well known member suffering from cancer. These are my memories of DevArt, and the Devious counter-culture is what attracted me to the site to start with. Yes, at one time we were a family.
What has not been answered is the accusation that DevArt is headed the way of a major corporation, bought up to be an asset in some huge shareholders coffer. I never signed up to express myself for those principals, and I won't continue my expression if the site ends in that way. Let us all hope for the community's sake that what is happening will work itself out, and we can continue growing and loving the community that was envisioned, and then realized by each and every one of us.

thanks but i am still stuck on a couple things..one of them being how to make your pictures into thumbnails to display on the forum i was sent a explaination from somone but i tried it and it didnt work

If that doesn't work, click help up above and in the lil faq section just type in thumbnails and you should find something useful there. They got damn near anything you'll ever need in there if you can find the right keywords
