It was... It was difficult, actually. I haven't seen her in a couple of years and I was shocked at her decline. She really isn't doing very well at the moment, and needs a lot of looking after. But I think she was pleased to see me, from what I could tell. Going to see her was the right thing to do.

I actually understand somewhat what you are going through with your grandmother.
My grandmother isn't doing so well herself. She's in pain very often and has cramps everyday and can't walk.
Her new medicine have also made her hallucinate, and her memory is falling apart. It's very difficult for me since my grandma used to be one of my best friends when I was a child, and she's just not the same person anymore. But just like your grandma, she gets very happy to see me, so I try to see her whenever I visit my family. ^^

Oh, don't worry about it! I'm sorry to hear your grandmother is unwell too. We've actually had an update with mine! Things were getting so bad with her staying at her house, we've managed to move her to a home a few minutes from our home. She came down a little over a week ago, and my parents tell me she is doing really well - the carers are good, she's eating well, and she is even starting to hold short conversations with my parents and brother. Apparently she asked how I was doing, and is looking forward to me coming to visit.
