Thank you. I take a _lot_ of pictures in the street. Only a very few are worth keeping. For some, I use a 200mm lens, for most just my phone camera 'from the hip'.

I've heard that the iPhone has good image quality, but has long shutter-lag. You will need to anticipate!

Had a go with the iphone on Tuesday in Liverpool. It was no good. Tooks some with my camera (Cannon D100) will put some up later.

You will need to practice to make good use of the phone. Phones tend to be quite wide-angle, so you need to be close. They also suffer shutter lag, so you need to anticipate where your subject will be a second from now. More than anything else, shooting from the hip (or shoulder), while looking in a completely different direction takes a while to learn.
