We're doing a gallery exhibit of Blue Velvet inspired art as part of a celebration of the 25th anniversary of the film in Wilmington North Carolina where the film was shot. These events will be part of the Cucalorus Film Festival November 10-13th. I hope you'll submit something. There's a call to artists here:

oh holy crap dude that picture is terrifying. it's like 4 in the morning and that is not something i need to see right now!
uh...i put a new picture up called "the blue lady" jesus it took me hours upon hours to get it to where i was mildly happy with it...for some reason the colours are completely different when i upload on dA...

I deleted dorothy vallens and blue velvet from my gallery. meh. after checking out everyone else's work i feel so feeble and insignificant. you can keep or get rid of the ones in your gallery, whichever. btw, anymore club events coming up?
