I'm a 20-year-old novelist and poet, and Gothic fiction is my primary genre. My real name is Michael Day, and I've been writing since a very young age. My favorite author is Edgar Allan Poe, and my favorite musicians are Alice Cooper and Kristen Lawrence.M. J. Nevermore is a character written to be a sort of "ghost writer". He is twisted, diabolical, and brilliant enough to spook even the most well-learned mind. He is obsessed with death, having died once himself, only to be brought back to life shortly after. His stories usually deal with insanity, human corruption, and the supernatural.

Relatively entertaining c: I've been on discord for a bit now, I have my own server and I do smol animations now.
Splatoon also took over my life (but so did Haikyuu, so pffft-). I should be headed to college soon too, but real life isn't fun.

It's really not. >_< But "fun" doesn't pay the bills. Speaking of real life, I got a job at Kroger just recently. It's the first of what I can only assume will be multiple jobs until I'm able to live on my own with my regular income.

So what've you been up to lately?

In around two hours I'll be going to my sister's wedding, and also celebrate my mum and dad's anniversary haha.
I've been animating some stuff, since I've always kinda wanted to be an animator- I'm getting there slowly (there's a link in my signature to my channel if you want to look up some stuff). It's all cuddly affection-based feel-good stuff that I do, though there are two which stirred up a fuss (squint and octokiss, both of them feature homosexual relationships and people don't like that stuff, apparently XD).

My sister wants to get into animation too. She's done some good work so far; I'm proud of her.
As for me I've been hard at work developing a fantasy novel series. Soon as the first book is finished I aim to have it published; it follows a young elf girl from a Cherokee-like society whose home village is destroyed, leaving her to fend for herself in a massive world that's brimming with danger at every turn.

Sounds like a fun novel to be writing. I started on a small story myself but found myself so attached to the first chapters writing that I lost all motivation to write the rest. It would all seem lackluster after what I had written haha.

She sounds like she is- I looked at her Mad Kate animation and gave her a little bit of feedback. It's a good basic animation, but if she wants to get into properly animating, she'll need to make use of more frames and learning how to move the body of animals/humans properly. c:Β
I know that feeling well, getting feedback on my animations and pictures is super helpful. I've been making a lot of still images and then playing around with them in firealpaca to make them pretty. =w=b I made one for a girl called Lia and she's posted the images I made of her inkling like, everywhere.
