It was still early in the morning, the sun having just shown itself a few minutes ago. And yet the sound of a car door was already heard outside of the library. The sound of the heavy door being unlocked and opened echoed in the still air of the library as a young man stepped in. He was one of the workers, and even though the large old building didnβt open for another hour, he decided to come early. He was dressed in dark blue jeans with a sweater that was topped by a grey hoodie. He placed his bag down before walking past the book cases; not having noticed he left the door open a little. It was nice to be here when things were still, all the company coming from the old stories that were neatly placed next to each other. There were books on everything, from history to folk law. If you wanted to find something all you had to do was look. He sat down on one of the couches, looking at a book that had been left there. He easily got himself lost in them, he just didnβt know how lost he would become.

White and yellow rays that stretched from behind the curtain easily awoke the Norwegian who oddly slept quite lightly instead of his usual deep sleep. The day was already calling for him, birds singing outside at this time. Once he got up and stood to his feet, Lukas pulled aside the curtain and immediately looked towards the clear, red and purple sky. This was one thing he loved about mornings; every color outside appearing enhanced, like an artist deciding to add in special details that could only be seen at a specific time.
Lukas soon went to eat his breakfast ~a simple sandwich, and dressed up into a white sweater and plain black pants to start off the day. He knew that nothing was opened at this time so there were limited options as to where the blond man could go. Nothing tiring nor stressful. After thinking about it for a moment still sitting at the kitchen table, the library popped into his mind since he did have an interest in reading stories. Lukas didn't know if it was open or not, but worth the time to walk there and check it out.
Once out of the house and close enough to the building after walking a few blocks, he noticed that this seemed to be a 'special' library(reading a sign on the side); where they keep different kinds of books about magic, myths, folklore, etc. This definitely did interest him, but when were they opened? The blond Norwegian walked closer out of curiosity in case he could find a paper taped somewhere that explained their opening times. Instead he found the front door slightly open. Obviously Lukas hesitantly walked inside believing that this building was open.
Someone sitting on a couch immediately caught his eye. They appeared very similar if not completely identical to himself just dressed in different clothing, reading some sort of book. He came up to the smaller seat accross from the unknown person and sat down. Being too shy to talk even though it did shock him inside at how similar they both were, he instead picked up a random book titled 'The Dark Past' on a table in front of the other man in case that would catch their attention. The only sound heard now were the pages both of them turned.

Sigve wasn't paying any attention to what his surroundings were, he was reading such a great book, the plot lost in the words but clear in his mind. He didn't notice the other young man that had walked in, the library wasn't open, and he didn't have his 'staff' badge on. At the sound of the flicking pages, Sigve looked up for a second before looking back at the book; someone was there... Someone was there? He jumped a bit, dropping the book he was reading. No one was suppose to be here, not even he was really.Β
"W-who are you, and where on earth did you come from?" He asked as he leaned forward to pick up the book again, straightening some crumpled pages and placing it down.Β

Reading the first page of the book, he actually began to enjoy what it was about; despite it describing the raids and battles during the Viking Age in great detail. Usually when someone even talked about the negative things that happened in his past, he'd literally stand up and leave. All the bloodshed he witnessed was enough, and later on in the Modern Age, his horrible memories got the better of him mentally. Slight social anxiety grew gradually, having trouble fitting in in group discussions and parties. Although surprisingly, Lukas was completely fine with reading something this...deep.
The Norwegian looked back up at the other man after hearing something drop, and used his thumb as a quick bookmark before closing it. "And who are you? I just walked through the door a minute ago. I'm not sure why someone who I don't even know would be wondering about my identity as well as shocked to see me sitting here."

Sigve looked at the other, reaching into the pocket of his jacket in favor of pulling out his staff badge that said the name of the library and his name; 'Sigve Anderson' and 'staff' underneath it. "I work here... And the library doesn't open for another hour and a half." He cursed himself lightly for leaving the door open, he could lose his job for this. He stood up, placing the book that was about an old Norse god on the table beside the couch. "You will have to go..." He stopped once he got a better look at the other, he looked almost and if not exactly like him. Same height, same eyes same hair even the same facial expression. "I'm sorry, but what did you say your name was?" He was still slightly taken by the surprise of the other, not interested to know who this man was.Β
