How strange. Tonight we were watching a programme on that very subject. It wasn't bad for everybody, because all of the world's champion surfers came piling up here and enjoyed it very much (as everybody was having their houses devalued by the second). One guy was like, "Wah! When we saw the waves we just had to come! And, when you're out there, you get hit in the face with these hail stones like freakin' golf balls! So that made it even better!"

Hiya.
I dunno. Windows just went tits up, and the usual system restore thingys didn't do anything. So I had to get the original discs out and carefully repair what was corrupted, this took ages. If I would have rushed I might have lost all my beloved books, music, films, etc, so I had to go mega slow. Anyway, I finally got it sorted, and I did have to buy some new hardware too. So it's not like a completely new PC, but there are new bits.
Very boring, very irritating but very necessary.
I was taking some photos of a local Orthodox church the other day and it reminded me of our deep debates all those moons ago, and I was... Hmmm, I wonder how Jackie is, I hope she is well. And I hope you are!
