No problem
I think toronto is an awesome city for photographers. great spots are everywhere. I tend to be attracted to either the gritty run down and abandoned areas, or the parks. The in-between stuff (like the suburbs, or my area of leaside) is pretty boring.
The abandoned areas are cool, but usually involve trespassing, so its harder to get people to go with me (and i don't like shooting by myself), so i usually stick to the downtown area or parks like high park, or the cool little park downtown that has horses, i forget what its called..
My area is pretty boring and not a lot of interesting photography sites, so most of the time i'll focus on small details to photograph. A gate, a cup of coffee, a bench and stuff like that.. Anything can look cool

What are some of the abandoned areas you go?
I love abandoned places... only place I've been was the old Whitby Psychiatric Hospital but I wasn't that into photography when I went and it's completely torn down now.

My favourite was always the don valley brickworks. An old abandoned brick factory. Very eerie and dark inside. Most of the machines are still there decaying and rusting.
There were a lot of cool abandoned mansions where i lived downtown, just south of bloor on sherbourne. The last abandoned place i went to was a huge abandoned warehouse just south of my work on laird. Full of graffiti.
I would love to check out an abandoned loonie bin, or a prison

I think my mission this summer is to check out as many abandoned places as possible.
I really wish the Whitby psych was still there. I was 11 or 12 and with my cousins and I was afraid to go inside so we just walked around the outside. There was peeling paint everywhere and broken windows and such. You should check out some pictures of that place. There was some creepy stuff there, apparently it was haunted.

Its my pleasure, your pictures keep getting better every time
I've been doing good, just really busy with work and stuff. I screwed up my msn so thats why i havent been on at all. I kept getting logged out with the message "you have been logged in at another location". That freaked me out so i changed my password and now it wont take my new password I'll set another one up eventually
Hope things are going well with you

Thank you very much :]
Glad to hear your doing well.
That is fine, I have had that problem before it takes a while to get everything back to the way it was.
Everything with me is doing quite well, thank you :]
My hard drive has recently crashed, so I have lost all of my photos, but this way gives me a boost to go out and get new and better photos :]
