Wow, someone noticed, appreciated.

Still waiting on seeing Angus Dubh illustrated, heard a rumor about it a while back (although admittedly I haven't done much more on the Xaris teasing scene either - the N'shika picture was updated with slightly better eyes).

yeah Ive been working on my facial features , it was pointed out my characters faces all kinda look the same lol but its good I think im doing a better job now on angus's face and im trying to work on fight scenes, and holy hell its hard to draw lyonis lol I can see the deformity in my head but just cant put it on paper

Knows the feeling, I have an image set in my mind but all attempts to put it on paper wind up in the bin (or so eraser damaged that the paper starts flaking). I now throw together a basic sketch then look for reference images to refine features so everything winds up in the right place (hopefully).

Lyonis would be difficult, he has twisted limbs and a slightly hunched back but the face of an angel (so perfect he couldn't really be evil - unless you have read Lillith's story or Khevan's then you might suspect he has a dark side to him). Unfortunately you won't come across a reference pic for Lyonis. I did a sketch requiring a twisted leg, fortunately I had a cooperative model and got a pic in one pose then another pic with the leg turned, used a bit of computer magic to join the two and used the composit picture as a reference.

Oddly you need almost as much skill for a comic book/animation/anime character as a realist, get something wrong and the whole sketch looks off.

That better job is a bit of a bugger, something you did a year ago and thought was real good, as you develop better knowledge and skill, tends to look like something that belongs in a bin. On the plus side it means we are actually improving.

I'm having a bugger of a time with the J'nae side on my latest sketch attempt, not game to try a fight scene yet.

wow that definitely explains alot about lyonis and his family, very dysfunctional lol it gives me a better idea of what he and his sister gwyneth look like

The next bit of The Dark Wizard (Half Circle) has been posted, more description there of Gwyneth. The two are very similar in looks, like masculine and feminine versions of the same person sort of thing.
