For drawing digital trees, I think it is important to keep in mind the 'flow' of the tree.. also try to study different trees, experiment look up different tutorials, and practise, practise, practise!!
I hope this was helpful (I'm still in the learning process myself)and keep on drawing! You've got some very cool fantasy drawings yourself ^^

Thank you! And yes, I have a long way to go, especially when it comes to digital art- I think there is a learning curve there that I'm not quite proficient with yet. Trees and I get along really well in the traditional world, but as soon as I'm at a computer, I just can't make them look right. This could be because I want them to look traditional

I can totally relate to that.. especially at first, but now still, I have way more confidence in my traditional drawings! And it's the same with oil paint, it's a completely new way of 'drawing'. I guess that is the same with every new medium- you'll have to get used to it. But all in all, I think it is a lot of fun exploring different styles and media!
