Hello my name is James and I'm a novice illustrator. I'm currently 18. I'm going to attend Montserrat college of art.COMMISSIONS:
$1-$5 Single character
$10-$15 Multiple characters
$20-35 Mature content (This varies even more)
I think Im pretty generous with these, dont be afraid to ask, if I like it as a piece it may be free or a very small cost.
Disclaimer: I'm not a manga artist of any sort, in fact I'm really just a novice in illustration. I enjoy the manga style and find it in a good spot, that is why I'm trying to learn it. I have my own styles that I work on and other drawings that I don't upload here because I feel as though they don't fit (Sketchbook pages, studies, experimentations).
I'm actually a comic artist(illustrator and writer more specifically) who is interested in animation. I've created 14 stories and have written down many of them, making proof of concepts (Story boards, a few chapters, paper with characters and their personalities and personal arcs). I'm also interested in voice acting, making music, choreography (Especially fight scenes), and dialogue. I don't share my stories widely because they may be flawed in some areas and or incomplete, there may be a time when I share them.
Fun Facts
1) I can't smell OR taste! I hear healthy food tastes terrible.
2) I nearly 100% of the time listen to hip hop/beat tracks when I draw/illustrate -Though you shouldn't listen to any music while making art it gets my hype enough to do it-.
3) The furthest I've traveled from MA was to Atlanta Georgia.
4) I only applied to Montserrat college of art and that's it.
5) I skipped a year of art class because my highschool couldn't fit me in it.
6)I went to a catholic for both years of first grade and that is the most traumatic and most important time period of my life and I'm thankful for it.
7) I lost cable for 3 years and during that time I drew a lot and sat around thinking and making stories (I was 7-10)
8) I enjoy drawing dudes more than girls usually, girls are just more difficult so I draw them more
9) I never really had any issues drawing hands and feet.
10) My penmanship is absolutely awful, I don't even understand how, like my line art is clean -usually- but somehow I nearly have chicken scratch.
