first i have a crush on velma since i was a child and watched the scooby show:
The name's Bond, Velma Bond...
i like the drawing, the composition and the choice of color for the background.
Vel-mignola
the reference to mignola isΒ instant like for me. and is great to see velma in a darker tone.
Velma a la Uglow
It remind me, at first, of Schielle and i loved it.
then i read about Uglow, and being part of the Freud gang...well is easy to see why it reminded me of Schille. well, i discovered a great artist i didn't knew before.
hope it helps to fill in the blanks of your curiosity.
By the way, you have amazing drawings, not only this three.
