No problem at all, you've got quite the gallery yourself, one could hope to aspire to draw that well.

Your welcome and thank for providing those high quality textures free of charge unlike most of the other people that sport any sort of talent on this website in that regard. I just recently started doing some 3D model work with sci fi concepts and I ran into the issue of how few textures are readily available for that when not working professionally.

I like em nicely done, but are those the ones you uploaded for devart or are the actual images bigger?

Actual images are around 2500x3500 give or take.I guess when I uploaded the pics, DA automatically shrunk them down, maybe?

Yeah, it does that, probably to keep peoples internet from locking up when downloading such large files. Do you think you could host the full ones elsewhere?

I have a myspace account,I can post the pics there, this is the: myspace.com/almagam If the link doesn't work, word search:Almagam,or darkelfeternal@yahoo.com,or Raul Salinas,"that part will of course need to be done on the myspace site" I don't know if you have to join myspace first in order to be able to view anyone's profile or not.I also don't know what the limits are to how big or small a pic can be,but I'll check it out.If none of that works out?....I can always try e-mailing the pics to you.

I don't know if I responded to this message of yours or not, my memory is horrid. But anyway, I got the pics. Unfortunately it will be some time before I can put them to use as I still have to edit the blog I intended them for and that probably won't happen until a major streak of days off for me.

Hey, I uploaded a pic of the Rogue character! I figured I'd kill two birds with one stone, as the saying goes.First to show where I'm at as far the pic goes, second to make a tutorial as I've never tried to do one before.let me know what you think.

Hey I uploaded two pics! the first one is the female cleric, she's not done yet, but getting there. the second is the rogue which needs a little more work with the line art.

Excellent, I am looking forward to the results. A suggestion on the arms of the assassin to be one in the front holding a dagger and one in the back holding a dagger. Of course this would require you to alter the whole pose of the character.

Hey, I corrected that cheek bone. hopefully it came out OK, also changed the color of the lightning and energy around the eyes. Quick question,I'm working on the female cleric. Are there particular colors you wanted for her? being that she's female and evil.

Master-Cerberus In reply to wraith2099 [2009-05-14 06:13:29 +0000 UTC]
Yup, everything about him is perfect now except the eyes, the smokey effect looks kinda weird when its a the top and bottom, could you fill his eyes with the color of the smoke and erase the bottom parts of it? I think it would look more natural (ironically I am saying this about an imaginary wizard).
As for the female cleric, I am assuming deep crimson would work well. Something that will fit with the rest of the characters so that she does not look out of place. Maybe crimson and very deep shades of purple to connect her to the wizard you just created?
LMK what you think.

It would be awesome if I could have the individual characters as well if you have them saved separately to use as backgrounds for the different pages on the website.

Yeah, I was thinking of the same thing myself, the having each character separately part, so yeah that's no problem.

Master-Cerberus In reply to wraith2099 [2009-02-26 05:42:52 +0000 UTC]
Well it depends really...if you are going for simply an undead character that works but if you are trying to make a ghed its not really there. See, a lot of the ghed art was done by one artist and he sort of established the norm for them. Their clothes and coloration tend to range from blues to deep purples (usually in the background) and they really aren't all that transparent. Most of their art is by far some of the most detailed as it goes for characters. There are several themes I noticed as I looked over them. They tend to have no legs, their body begins to blur and dissolve into mist approx. at their waist. The ones who are wizards look like most other deverenian wizards do, I noticed they usually have hoods or some sort of head ornament. They also usually have staves as weapons. The warriors on the other hand have a lot of chains incorporated into their armor (armor that looks similar to the regular deverenian knight armor)and have heavy weapons like sledgehammers and great axes. One characteristic they all share is that they have lighting around them to show they are born of the storm.
Still if you want to go for an undead knight that can be fine. Also I know that its usually common to signify an evil nature of characters by making their eyes glow red but all deverenians if they are possessed of magic power or are undead have blueish misty kind of eyes (to show they carry the energy of the storm I guess). Let me know what you think about it all.
