# About me

I think art is the most important thing in the world and makes life worth living. My background has largely focused on writing, including my degree from Indiana University where I majored in English and double minored in writing and New Media communications. Since, I’ve begun exploring the world of photography, focusing primarily on nature shots. I’ve also started painting using spray paints, as well as other types of crafts. I’m always looking for the next creative avenue!

Art is only truly fulfilling when shared. This is why I joined deviantArt, to share what I'm working on with others. While attending college I also used that sentiment to launch a creative journal From the Well House: fromthewellhouse.org . Since starting in 2007 it has become a big part of the university and showcasing the artistic talents of students, staff and faculty.

Thanks likewise for the watch. I've been doing spray paint art on and off for about a year now. I'm trying to get some more techniques under my belt so they aren't all spacey/sci-fi and take them to some art festivals too.
