I'm sort of in the same boat as you when it comes to liking photography all my life, but more recently getting really into it. Being on this website for several years before making an actual account, I have seen my share of pictures of clouds in the sky or a flower in a backyard taken with a camera phone and labeled "art". Maybe this is why whenever I see nature photos, I just kinda skim over them and move on. But, I think your photos are beautful and stunning, and when I get them in my deviantWATCH inbox, I'll definitely look at all of them. I love that yours have that artistic and thoughtful umph to them without being over edited. They're perfect :) (Smile)

I don't think I've ever had a comment as great as that, thanks a lot! :D (Big Grin) I really dislike photos that have been quite obviously over-edited in an attempt to make them look amazing so I usually don't edit my photos. I'm really glad you like my photography, I'm not surprised you like it too. You're gallery is great! What type of camera do you have?

Which SLR are you using at the moment? Yeah, I would definitely love to buy more lenses including macro for my Canon but they are SO expensive. They nearly cost as much as the camera itself :P (Lick)

I've just got the Nikon D3100 and I love it, I'll start uploading photos from it soon. Sometimes the lens cost even more than the camera! Guess I'll need to start saving :) (Smile)

So we are both SLR newbies! I just got my Canon a few months ago and EOS lenses and stuff are so expensive! Can´t wait for your latest macros then :) (Smile)

Thanks once again. :D (Big Grin) You have some pretty cool photos so far. I like photos that are that little bit.....special/different/inspirational (it's hard to describe in words). For that reason I like your macro work and some of your scenery shots (moon through trees, winter fog etc.) They are things that you don't see done every day. Keep it up.
