Oh well. Might I say that I appreciate the way you do 3/4 portraits. Specifically how unafraid you are of the curves of the face on the side facing away.Β

Yeah. I'm talking about the one you did of Angie. I'm always too timid to properly do 3/4s, never really defining the face enough. Until recently, things always looked rather... uniformly round. For people. I've always been better at drawing animals.

Certainly I don't have to tell you to take risks when practicing! A lot of my "style" is a combination of western comics and Japanese manga, and a lot of them draw faces like that. Plus, Angy herself doesn't have a lot of fat, so her face is a bit more intensely shaped. You do do animals better, but you also practice them more and have been for longer. You can get humans rights eventually, though.Β
