Think of the mushroom like explosion of an atomic bomb. Imagine, instead of ash, dust, shrapnel, and all the other rubbish flying at you through the air in a huge wave of power. Imagine every piece of flying material, on closer inspection, turns out not to be rubbish after all, but words, thoughts and emotions.Rewind the image: Let the explosion shoot back, get smaller, follow it to the horizon where it started, and you will see all those words, feelings and emotions shooting back into the top of a adolescents skull.
Now imagine that adolescent looks absolutely mental: skirt over skinny jeans, unfitting hairstyle, trenchcoat billowing around her...

I know I havent replied in ages, but when I recieved your message; I was feeling down, and apathetic, and then later I just needed to be able to enjoy seeing the message, reminding me that some people do like me, even if they dont really know me. Thanks also for the watch, even if by now you may have removed it again, due to me not updating anything here for too long, which would be understandable. What philosophy in particular do/did you enjoy, and which thouts do you refer to? I am always glad to tell other people what I think, perhaps to cause thoughts to form in places they dont usually grow.

It's harder, yes. Not "worse," there's nothing bad about being an LGBT kid. But there is plenty hard about it. But yes, it just bring even more turmoil and pain into the house when a transgender child brings in a girl or boyfriend to meet their parents, because there are even more uncomfortable questions for the parents to ask themselves and be concerned about. Or even angry about.

I should think that parents are rather relieved by a boy or girlfriend, because that, at least, they can deal with. Which experiences have you made with it? What is the story behind your opinion?

My mom is aware that I'm trans and has angrily asked me what I plan to do about a boy/girlfriend, because "no gay man is going to want a girl that wants to be a boy," and "no straight woman wants a tomboy," and if I brought one home, she would start to ask questions about whether I'm with some freak tranny-chaser.
Not that it's always super difficult, but it is most certainly a part of transpeople's lives, too. And my dad would be furious if i "became" a gay boy, because he sees homosexual men as the scum of the earth, and if I was with women, he'd accuse me of being a lesbian. Lose-lose situation.

Yeah. Well. Havent had that problem. My father just hates anything that would not have been acceptable 300 years ago. That being said, he would be a priest of the time, because he likes to shun others, and likes looking at ladies. both online and IRL. That being said, he recently told me that if I ever even thinking of getting a girlfriend I should do so in some other continent, as far away as possible, and he doesnt want to ever see me again. I am however allowed to see his gravestone.

Also, divorce wasn't acceptable 300 years ago, nor was women owning property, or a man being punished for raping a woman. Your father is quite the hypocrite if he disagrees with those things.

oh, im not sure he doesnt agree with them... I think it should stay out of the news if it does happen... I think he is fine with women having property, and wouldnt dream of having a divorce, though he does regret marrying, and I think he thinks the men are despicable for raping, but I dont think he thinks much of the person raped...
And yeah, he isnt in my best books at the moment. and i apologise: it wasnt exactly the topic... I just needed to tell somebody about it before I start feeling sick.
