I dont think it is difficult to be happy or serene and love yourself . At the end you begin from right foundation when you say " I do not try to succeed"
Instead, the careerism and the desire for success and gain only bring misery and paranoia. I that have few years older than you, can confirme that I never pursued the vain things of life, but only things real and fundamental like human values, honesty, the search for beauty in nature and people, and give/get love of a woman.

First of all, don't worry about your English 
Then I have to say that the 'Fame' really worries me, I know that if I suceed I won't be able to stand the fall once you have been on the top of everything. That's why Kurt Cobain killed himself at the moment he did. I'm not saying that I'd kill myself but that would be a hard blow to overcome. That's what i'm afraid of.
In all these years I have learned that there are things more important in life that suceess, good marks and all that kind of stuff. Now I try to be a better person, to improve as an human and to learn as many skills as I can.
And, of course, you are right in all the things you said.

Ultimately, it is normal for a beautiful and brilliant girl like you have an aspiration to something important in life and against the fear of not succeeding. but believe me at the end, if you take away all the veils that cover the worldly things, in the end there are only the real values ββof life.
I dont worry, at least not more now, when the message is clear and the people in tune, words will be understand beyond any language.
I'm remind the words of H.D. Thoreau: "I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.
