You have to give up eating seafood for life, you have to take scuba diving lessons for years in order to meet her, you have to deal with the "bends" (decompression sickness) from staying underwater for too long, you can't have her out of the water for too long, you have to avoid getting her legs wet in order to make sure it doesn't turn into a fish tail, etc....
