# About me
A few years back, I was an aspiring author and artist. I used to draw and write all the time... But somewhere along the way, I'd lost that. I know it wasn't as sudden as it feels to me now, but it happened gradually over time. Life had gotten hard for me, somewhere between the betrayals, college, and job hopping... So instead of getting out my stress through art like I used to, I instead tried to bury it with food and sleep when I wasn't working. Happily though, my life has made a turn for the better. I've married the love of my life, I work out regularly, eat healthy, have started to write and draw again and I'm the happiest I've ever been in a lot of ways. Still though, it is tough sometimes trying to get back into the swing of things after nearly years of writing and drawing virtually nothing but it is fun all the same. One of my drawbacks was I lost writing and drawing for fun and would get so wholly focused on perfection that I lost the beauty and wonder of creating entirely. Happily, thanks in large part to my husband and close friends, I've re introduced myself to creating for the fun of it. Every once in a while that O.C.D. side of me will strike out at me, but I'm better able to cope and fight it off now. You can expect more artworks, writings, and fanfictions from me now because, dare I say it, I said I would. I look forward to creating with you all! :)A.N. Yes, I am referencing the "because I said I would." initiative by Alex Sheen in that second to last sentence. Lol. I don't mean to sound like an advertisement but it truly is a wonderful initiative worth a look at for anyone.
