I only have Msn Messenger if you have it add me @ sscottwhite@hotmail.co.uk and yes my forum was one hell of a hobbie at one time lol, im trying to design one for my girlfriend as shes abit bored im so rusty!, shes just had our first child so she needs to have a hobbie to stop her from getting bored while baby is asleep. If you have msn i will show you some pictures of my little princess

just posting this just incase i forget it.
If you're saving it as a TGA from Cinema chances are that it already has an alpha channel assigned in the file, it just isn't active on the layer in photoshop. Open/activate the "Channels" window in Photoshop, if there is something that looks like a black and white layer there then hold Ctrl and click that layer. Go back to the regular layer palette, double click the background layer (if there is one, to make a regular layer from it) and then with the selection still there hit Delete (you may need to inverse the selection first, then again, you may not).
