Yeah, really good. Through reading them, I learnt that the male Sydney Funnel-Web spider is the most venomous in the world, and that some of the most important tips in the wild is:
1) To keep calm
2) To observe your surrondings and your options, and which would work the best
3)Put it into actin but keep calm
4) Make your surroundings work for you
and stuff like that.
Alot of survival tips and such, as well as an awesome read into the bargain. And they kinda make me wanna go back to Australia.
Especially one part in Scorpion Sting.
Though sometimes the characters make me wanna scream through idiocy and the like.
But I'd rather that the author were born in NZ and moved to Aus then just plain born in Oz.
And out of all Extreme Adventures books I've read, only 2 or 3 take place in Australia.
