Hm.. so, Messinki aka. Saija is a 23-yo tomboy girl from hellhole, Finland. I grew up with a band of dork.. er.. I mean guys, so no wonder why I'm unable to categorize myself as a girly girl. I love motorbikes, tattoos, piercings, messing around and getting dirty. I prefer converses and jeans over skirts and high heels.
I'm a game developement student. I'm executing my practical training period in a game studio now, so pretty much all of my time contains games and stuff concerning games. I make 3D (models) - and 2D (concept art, GUIs, etc.) -graphics, animations and such. Graphics for games, if you wanna put it shortly.
I love video games. This is one of my boyish traits too. I'm not a huge fan of FPS or online games, though, because I suck at 'em. RPGs are more like my cup of tea. There are lots and lots of different platforms and consoles to choose from, but I totally stand for Nintendo. SNES ftw!
I LOVE drawing. I'd propably die if I wouldn't be able to draw anymore.. Um.. I'd RATHER die, than suffer without being able to draw anymore. I draw mostly anime and manga stuff, and video game characters. Pretty much everything my little brother demands.. Just kidding. I usually draw with markers (Copics), pencils or my tablet (Wacom Intuos4) and Photoshop / Paint Tool Sai.
Books are my passion. I could spend days and days just reading books with a huge mug of tea (or hot chocolate <3). For me, books are portals to another worlds, civilizatioon and recreation. Only your imagination is the limit when talking about books and tales inside 'em! Nonfiction books are also so much fun to read, like science stuff. I also like to write stuff, like poems and stories.
I do sports. Boxing, bodyjam and afro are my faves. I also go jogging every day with my two dogs, and kettlebell workout rules!
My pet peeves and things I totally hate:
- If someone eats with his mouth open
- Microsoft Word helper: paperclip,
- If someone leaves cupboard doors wide open
- The sound of animal licking himself
- Early mornings and alarm clocks
- Darkness
- Bees
- Narrow places
- Wieners
- Crocs (shoes)
