Okay, so how you make a group is actually a lot simpler than it looks.... XD
You go to MORE (right next to MOBILE and SUBMIT) on the top category thing on top, and select Groups, (or you can just go here: groups.deviantart.com )
Now, look at the search bar. Right next to it says, "Make a Group." Click that button, give your group an original name, get some members, and show me your group! I would love to see it! :) (Smile)
