Here is the synopsis:

Molly Langley willingly shares her life and body with a symbiotic life form on a distant planet called Eden. Her world is discovered one seemingly ordinary morning by a ship of explorers from Earth that mistakenly believe that they had discovered a lost human colony. In order for them to be able to return home, Molly and her family must join forces with a group of escaped prisoners, spies and rebels and find a way to bring down the shield that is trapping on the planet, telepath home to let their people know where they are so her people can bring down the company once and for all.
