Hello :) My name is Kylie Slauson.

:thumb336191901: I love to write and doodle as well as craft with Polymer clay. I play soccer and guitar and am published in my School's literature magazine, The Oracle. I hope to one day open my own bakery called The Careless Navigator - after my deceased aunt's old restaurant, who taught me how to cook - and have a writing career on the side, writing fictional novels and short stories. I plan to go to college to major in Writing and minor in business.

I dabble in the arts - not just writing - with polymer clay as well as other 3D mediums. I once build a life-sized coffin with mummy inside completely out of rolled up pieces of magazine paper. It took me over four weeks but it was TOTALLY worth it when the whole thing was finished... it was Hell and back to get it to the teacher I built it for (it was a school project) seeing as he was upstairs and well... it was big... but it was worth it :thumb335884350:

I also do carvings out of fruit. I made one for the Principles Day Breakfast at my school one year and it was a lot of fun. It was a two foot tall christmas tree out of grapes and melon and all these other vibrate fruits. I had a blast building it!

Last year I participated in NaNoWriMo, the writing competition in November to write 50,000 words in one month. I didn't win, I got too busy in school to finish, but I tried, and I'm ready for this year! I plan to finish this year ^^;
