Hi. I'm Minkymy. Or Mimi. Or Maya. Or Minkette. Or whatever little nickname you develop for me over time. I'm quite the procrastinator, and have a tendency of not finishing drawn pieces. I write poems sometimes, though, if that's any consolation (though why you'd need consolation in this situation is simply beyond me). I AM NOT A MINK. MINKS ARE MEMBERS OF THE MUSTELID FAMILY, WHICH INCLUDES SKUNKS, FERRETS, AND WEASELS, WHILE YOU AND I ARE A PART OF THE HOMINID FAMILY, A DISTINCTION WE SHARE WITH NO OTHER LIVING CREATURE. Eyaa, just because a name contains a word, it doesn't mean that said person is said word. Girls named Catherine are not cats. Cats named Catherine are cats.
I am not very decisive, and I am very OCD about my work, which is another reason why I don't have much here. I'm also pretty shy about showing other people my artwork - I have an intense fear of being judged, and when it comes to people in my real life, it becomes insecurity, shyness and self consciousness. I am also extremely awkward in person, but I've been improving. And of course there's my pathetically low self esteem. However, weight loss has been improving my self esteem greatly, so yaaay~
Now, onto interests apart from what's down there? Well, my interests could be considered the opposite ends of a spectrum - I find creepy things to be awesome (and sometimes amusing) and I adore cute things. The love of the first leads to a love of disturbing others for my own amusement (people have hilarious reactions) and the love of the second leads to an underlying desire to be cute or pretty. Continuing on that thread, I do a lot of things to amuse myself and those around me, because really, it's fun, and happy people make me happy. I also love music in general, and storytelling as well. I also have a fondness for video games.
I suppose I'm okay at sprite art, or at least messing with it, and I've been working on drawing PEOPLE. SERIOUSLY.
If you haven't figured it out already, I'm not an uncommon personality type on the internet, but it is what it is, yeah?
I recently obtained a tumblr, but it's mostly stuff in my tumblr feed, though If I get enough watchers I'll do something cool, I guess. I haven't been using it lately because again, I am horrifically lazy.
