Thanks for the fave! I like your fighter concepts very much and am inspired by them already. I like that they are clearly fictional, but they look as if they could very well exist in reality. Would it be ok for you if I adapt some of them for my story?
I also read your Journal entry about sketchup and agree completely. It is perfectly fine forΒ making my concepts models to give me a feel for dimensions and what my ideas would look like. But if you want to build a detailed model it is a real pain in the a**.
A friend of mine has actually build the freighter on which the main arc of my story took place. The model is insanely detailed, completely with the ship interior, furniture, equipment and so on. You can even use the drawers of the cupboards. But she has worked literally hundreds of hours on it. I would have never had the patience or the stamina to complete it.
