But my Touka reference is the most impossible things ive ever seen...

A Variety
I own prismacolours, fabercastells, Whsmith xD, Rymans, Copic Markers, Steadler coloured Liners, etc etcΒ
I mix/blend the appropriote colours together, it takes a while to find the right/similar colours/best colours from each set considering i have so many but honestly i dont simply use ONE set
If i had to pick a brand trhough it would be the Prismacoours, i use them most i guess and they lay out the foundation and the final coating to most if no all of my colouring xD

Ahh, ok. I only use the Primsacolors. I have Copic markers, Prismacolor markers, and Steadler markers, but I honestly prefer the pencils. I've found that Prismacolor works best for blending, for me it does, anyway. I'm honestly amazed you can use so many different brand markers and still have a good effect. I somehow expected that the different hardness of the pencils Β would give it a weird look. Learn something new everyday, I suppose. o:

ive not really used much of my copics either, ive used them a little for specific details like eyes etc but i only have the basic 12 set of primary colours which, in my opinion, doesnt give me enough material to work with
Honestly its a matter of trial and errro or practice makes perfect kind of thing
I mean you never know how something will turn out unless you truy it yourself
You may then try this and find it doesnt work for you, you may persist with it and find a style thats perfect for you :3

Yeah, I agree. I've found that prisma works best in my favor. Anyway, it's like you said, trial and error. owo
