Actually, I don't know if I'll be doing any more commissions. I've gotten pretty far behind on the ones I have now because I'm too busy to work on them. There's a possibility I'll start doing them again for a bit this summer, but it's unlikely. Sorry :\

On Etsy, Adventure Time shoes range from $70-$155, but I typically charge $50-$70 based on cost of the shoes, so mine are relatively affordable :]

I make sharpie shoes myself, and I was hoping to break into using acrylics on them as well. Problem is, I don't know if paint works well if I plan on wearing the shoes. Does the paint chip or otherwise get screwed up if you wear them?

Acrylics work fine on shoes, you just have to be sure to use a spray sealer. It's also a good idea to get one that's UV-resistant. So far I've had no problems with paint chips or anything like that :]

What I use currently is Kiwi brand "heavy duty water repellent." It's basically a general purpose silicone spray. I don't believe it's UV-resistant (it doesn't say it is). What do you use for spray sealant?
Also, I have actually used acrylics before, but it was on a commission and even though I asked them about the paint later on, I never received a reply. It really would've been nice for future notice, but oh well.

What you have sounds just fine. I've used various brands of clear acrylic sealer with matte finish, and I don't think there's any specific kind/brand that's better than the others.
