Stephen King is a great writer no doubt. i'm reading Paulo Coelho's Veronika decides to die. i like reading international literature it's really great you know ^^

I haven't read much international literature, only a couple of historical memoirs and probably some other books that I didn't know the origins of at the time. I do have one book, though, and it's one of my favorites, that was originally published in Germany (in German of course) and was popular enough to be translated to English and published elsewhere.
