# About me
Arran's background is, surprisingly, in the study of science and, in particular, human anatomy. Several years ago, specialism in scientific drawings of the human body led to the development of some unique tattoo designs, which in turn, fuelled her interest in the art of tattooing. Arran's developing passion caused her to move away from formal science studies and to take up studies in Fine Art at Lancaster and Morecambe College.Arran has a particular interest in traditional tattoo and graphic tattoo and, over recent years, she has become increasingly fascinated by the cultural variants in tattoo design.
In her spare time, Arran enjoys painting and spending time with her very comical cats
