Hi,
I live in Finsbury Park but I walk up to the Heath atleast once a week in the summer...it's just so much nicer there!!! Stroud Green Road smells a bit like the devils armpit with all the halal butchers & assorted yam shops, so it's more than pleasant to get away, especially when it's as roasting as it has been the past few weeks!

I couldn't agree more! Yr opinion about Stroud Green Road matches mine perfectly. I go to Finsbury Park to visit my friends only, otherwise I simply avoid it.Have you ever been to Waterlow Park in Highgate? I usually go there to relax, watch the cats hunting for mice,...it is just by Highgate cemetery. It's cool. I love Highgate.
