I also paid attention to some of the palettes you used on some of the Sonic Sprites, really cool that you decided to make multiple palettes for each Sonic game.

Oh cool, I actually rarely get complimented on the palletes part of the sprite sheet so it's nice to hear that someone appreacites it.

Well, not many people pay much attention to the palettes.  They're more focused on how it moves, if it flows right when animated, and how good it'll look in an animation.  I used to be like that, but when I started focusing most of my attention to background colors, it made the character color blend in with the background color.  Since then, I've focused most of my attention on the many things that bring a sprite together, with the color palette being priority one.

Yeah, that's very true. Pallete is very important . I think animations are just as important though.

Well, you have to focus on both, but just take into consideration the palette of the character, and the palette of the background.  You don't want any characters being camo with the background.  I find it easier to focus on the palettes of both background, and characters before I start focusing on the animation.

Alive and kickin it, having been doing any sprites lately, that's all. I'm working on posters, album covers, single covers and these type of things at the moment. I was actually wondering if I should be posting this stuff as well but I'm not sure my followers would like it.

Last year was pretty weird, lots of ups but also lots of lows and this one is pretty great so far. I've got some more opportunities to work on different type of art than sprites which is pretty cool i guess. How about you ?
